ADAMH Plans First Responder Appreciation Night at the Chillicothe Paints
The Paint Valley Alcohol, Drug Addiction and Mental Health (ADAMH) Board joins others throughout the State of Ohio to show appreciation to first responders and front line workers. This week of appreciation, April 29th through May 3rd, 2019 is held with ADAMH Boards throughout the State to recognize and show appreciation to those individuals who give tirelessly to individuals and communities during times of need.
To show appreciation for the work they do on a daily basis, the Paint Valley ADAMH Board will be sponsoring three (3) different “First Responder Appreciation” nights during the Chillicothe Paints baseball games at the VA Memorial Stadium in Chillicothe, Ohio. The Paint Valley ADAMH Board welcomes the community to come out as well to help thank the first responders. Dates scheduled include: Wednesday June 5th, Friday June 21, and Wednesday July 10, 2019.
An evening at the Chillicothe Paints is a great Southern Ohio Tradition that the whole family can enjoy. The Paint Valley ADAMH Board recognizes the first responders sacrifices, and is offering this appreciation night as a great way to help our first responders enjoy time with their family and friends, as well as allowing the community to recognize all the sacrifices our first responders make on a daily basis. In addition to the free tickets, a first responder will be selected to throw out the first official first pitch before each game as well as recognizing the first responders present at the game throughout the evening.
“The Paint Valley ADAMH Board participates in the Week of Appreciation because we see every day the difficulty and pain so many of our front-line fighters face as they work to help individuals in need. The positive impact that recovery has on individuals, families, job growth, community safety, and overall economic development cannot be overstated.” stated Board Executive Director Penny Dehner. ihidd
