Contract Forensic Psychologist

Job description:

This is a Contract position for consultation services as a Forensic Psychologist. You will play a vital role in assessing individuals involved in forensic settings. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your expertise in mental health evaluation within a legal environment.

Responsibilities

Complete evaluations to determine sanity and competency to stand trial when ordered by the municipal or common pleas court.

Assure that evaluations are completed, and documentation is delivered to the court within 30 days of the court’s request.
Collaborate with other Center treatment staff when completing court-ordered evaluations as needed and appropriated

Outpatient Therapist

Job description:

We are seeking a compassionate Outpatient Therapist to join our dynamic mental health team. The Outpatient Therapist will diagnose or evaluate mental and emotional disorders of children and adults and develops and implements therapeutic treatment plan.

The Outpatient Therapist will assure clients have access to the most effective, efficient, and least restrictive/intrusive level of care (Individual, Group or Family Treatment). Conduct diagnostic assessments, and when required assures services have been authorized by managed care provider. Updates treatment plan as required. Facilitates authorization for client services with managed care provider and documents clinical observations, diagnosis, treatment plan (ISP), collateral contacts and progress notes in compliance with Center and Managed Care Provider protocols, policy, and procedures.

Routinely discusses progress toward goals with client. Consults and collaborates with Psychiatrist, primary care physicians and other specialists in accordance with Center protocols concerning treatment plan and amends plan if necessary.

Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree required. Master's degree preferred; four to ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. LSW or LPC required. LISW or LPCC preferred. Maintain licensure status and post Areas of Competence and Services. Valid Ohio drivers license.
