The Paint Valley Alcohol, Drug Addiction, and Mental Health (ADAMH) Services Board is pleased to announce the recipients of this year’s Recovery Celebration. Awards were presented during the eighth annual celebration on Tuesday, Sept. 1 at Bell Manor in Chillicothe.

“This year’s recovery celebration had a special focus on the prevention work being done in our community,” Board Chair Aaron McHenry stated. “ADAMH is proud and appreciative of the youth-led coalitions, school-based prevention education, and both the mentorship and community projects that happen in our community. Our children are worth the investment.”

Awards were presented to the following individuals:

• Amber Banks — Tom Johnson Award

The work that is being done in this community is inspiring,” Executive Director Bice said. “I also want to thank Jessica Jennings, Deputy Director from the Ohio Department of Behavioral Health, for joining us this year.
